Pros and Cons

Pros

  • The plot started right at the beginning.
  • It's romantic and funny. There is a tiny bit of action towards the end.
  • The story is very interesting.
Cons
  • The plot was a little weak. There's not much of a story, just an overall adventure. Still, it fow really well.
  • There's not a hole lot of action. There's some, but not much. Well, it is a romance.
  • The end isn't very satisfying.
Overall, a great love story. It keeps you interested through the whole thing. Anyway, I give it a 8.5-10.

Leave any suggestions for what I should review next in the comments. Upcoming reviews are Ouran High School Host Club, Soul Eater, and Goust Hunt. Next might be Fairy Tale.

Pros And Cons
Pros
  • It is action packed and funny. It's got a little mystery in there, too.
  • The characters are very dynamic.
  • Some episodes have life lessons in them.
  • It has a satisfying ending.
Cons
  • The main plot doesn't really start until two thirds of the way through the series.
  • The characters are so dynamic that you can't really get a sense of a few of them.
  • Too many random episodes.
Overall, it's a great show. I thoroughly enjoyed it the first time I watched it. Not as much the second time around. I'm not sure why. Anyway, I give it a 7.5/10. It's fun to watch. The link to the first dubbed in here.

Slayers Review By Legna

Slayers is an anime about a hotheaded sorceress named Lina Inverse and her travels. She is always accompanied by the simple-minded Gourry Gabriev, a wandering swordsman who she meets in the first episode. They are eventually joined by two others. The first is Zelgadis Greywords, a chimera made up of human, rock golem, and demon. He is also an excellent swordsman and a gifted sorcerer. The second is Amelia Wil Tesla Seyruun, a clumsy white magic user who happens to be the princess of Seyruun.
Back (L-R)-Gourry, Zelgadis
Front (L-R)-Amelia, Lina

Here are my Pros and Cons.

Pros

  • The story pacing is good. It goes fast enough for you stay interested, but not so fast that you get lost.
  • All of the characters are dynamic.
  • It's funny and action packed.
  • The story line is full of twists.
  • It's very original.
Con's

  • There are two major stories in the first season, even though they fit together in the end.
  • They changed two voice actors mid-series. Zelgadis' and Amelia's voices changed. I'm glad for Amelia's voice change because her first voice actor didn't fit her at all. I just wished they would have either remade the older episodes with the new voice or waited until the end of the season.
  • There was a lot of info to learn. Nothing hard, just a lot. They remind you of key things when needed, though.
Overall, I loved it. If you like action, humor, and a little mystery, watch this anime. I give it a 9.5/10. Link to first dubbed episode here.

Trigun Review by Legna

Trigun is about a expert marksman named Vash the Stampede. He has a 60,000,000$$ (double dollars [the currency in their world]) bounty on his head.  Two Bernardelli Insurance agents follow Vash around in order to minimize any damage he might cause. They are the serious and hotheaded Meryl Stryfe and the simple-minded but powerful Milly Thompson They are some times joined by a traveling priest named  Nicholas D. Wolfwood. He carries a huge cross on his back that turns out to contain a machine gun and a rack of automatic pistols.  As the series goes on, we see that Vash is a really nice guy who doesn't want anyone to get hurt.
Left to right: Nicholas D. Wolfwood, Vash the Stampede,
Meryl Stryfe and Milly Thompson.
Pros and Cons
Pros
  • It's funny, action packed, adventurous, and a little romantic. There is something for everyone.
  • The story is interseting and mysterious.
Cons
  • The first 10 or so episodes don't really follow a story line. They're great, but they don't really move the story forward.
  • Its a little confusing in places, but they clear it up in the end.

Overall, I give this anime a 8/10. Defiantly worth watching. There are 26 episodes in total.  The link to the YouTube videos is here.
